Blue Leaf Ceramics can offer you an unforgettable and unique experience of a real potter's studio. A workshop or party at Blue Leaf Ceramics offers so much more than the usual option of painting a readymade piece - here, you make your own thing, starting with a lump of clay you can explore the joy and creativity of hand building or have a go on a potters wheel.
STUDIO SATURDAYS 2022
I am running a longer 3 hour workshop for all abilities on one Saturday each month.
The extra hour and smaller class numbers will give us more time to explore ideas, work through various hand building techniques and apply coloured slips. You can arrive with a project in mind or be completely open to suggestions, it’s a happy creative journey.
The price includes tuition, all clays, coloured slips and the subsequent glazing and firings, and of course there will be teas, coffee and cake in constant supply. All the work will be ready to collect from my studio three to four weeks later.

PARTIES AND WORKSHOPS
HEN PARTIES.
Aprons will be provided and you will set to work rolling out my soft red clay into slabs and experimenting with surface patterns and textures, I will help you to form these pieces into beautiful functional bowls, platters, jugs or vases etc or even create decorative centre pieces for the wedding day.
Your work is left with me to dry, fire and glaze and will be ready to collect about three weeks later.
Tea, coffee and my large home made cake should keep you all going through this wonderfully busy session, and please feel free to bring along bubbles and other nibbles if you so wish to help celebrate.
There is ample parking and my studio is just a fifteen minute taxi ride from the centre of Bath.

CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAY PARTIES
2 hours, £30 per child.
I can take a maximum of 15 children.
The minimum is 6 children 
The children will spend approximately one and a half hours making their pots with half an hour allocated for the birthday tea. Please bring along the party food and an indoor table or picturesque outdoor covered picnic area are available depending on the weather.
Following the party all the work is left with me to be dried and colourfully glazed, ready to collect three weeks later.

For family, friends, anniversary and birthday gatherings.

Cost: £50 pp for 2 hours
£60 pp for 3 hours
